We share these trends and averages for our customers and breeders in the Longhorn Industry who could better their programs by analyzing it as it best suites them. 2026 Midwest Texas Longhorn Association Sale Results:

  • 64 out of 74 lots sold for an unofficial total of $296,700 and unofficial average of $4,636
  • There were 7 scratches and 3 POs
  • Top 10 lots average: $9,450
  • Top 25 lots average: $6,770
  • With this being the 11th sale of 2026 to be included in our Hired Hand Live Trends & Averages series, the 2026 Annual Average to date is $11,209.94
  • The sale average without the highest lot ($19,000) and the lowest lot ($1,700) included is $4,452
